Brooklyn Independent Comics Showcase is an annual comics and art convention in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

BICS highlights independent comics creators, artists, writers, and small press publishers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet creators, shop, and attend panels, classes, and signings - all for free!

 BICS highlights the vast array of talented, and perhaps underrepresented, creators in the NY metro area. Leveraging the resources of St. Mark’s Comics® and Industry City, we provide an opportunity for artists to present their work to their Brooklyn neighbors, as well as the wider community, at an affordable cost.

    After a sold out BICS 2022, it was clear that we had found our community. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, exhibitors, and Industry City made BICS an annual event!

  • Building a Larger Community

    With a successful year behind us, we looked to expand the number of artists and guests that we could accommodate. BICS 2023 more than doubled in scale.

  • An Industry Staple

    Now a must-attend show, BICS 2024 was more than four times the size of our first event, with over 200 tables, nearly 300 artists, and thousands of attendees!

    Now a 2-day, indoor event, BICS accommodates additional tables, panels, and more! BICS 2026 will be held in Industry City’s largest venue, The Box Factory.
