Sami Kerwin
PANELIST
Sami Kerwin (she/her) is your friendly neighborhood ghost purveyor and lover of everything spooky, cute, and queer. As a self-identified jack of all trades, Sami has been a stop motion artist, an illustrator, a painter, a handyman, a storyboard artist, and has dabbled in comics over the years. When she isn't working (and even when she is), Sami is thinking about D&D, fungi, cats, and her next lino print.

Tia Wilson
PANELIST
Tia Wilson (they/them) is an artist, illustrator, and comic maker from Maryland. They received their Bachelors degree in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology. Tia explores culture, experience, and identity through fine arts, printmaking, and comic art. Tia runs a comic newsletter titled 1-800-DYKE, and creates autobiographical comics, chronicling personal experience.

Kriota Willberg

Kriota Willberg (she/they) is a cartoonist and educator specializing in graphic medicine and a retired massage therapist and health science educator. Her self-care for artists book, Draw Stronger (Uncivilized Books), is a popular artist’s resource. Her self-published works include the Ignatz nominated comic Silver Wire, also on the BACAL and ALA Black Lives Matter Reading List. She is currently working on a memoir based on her personal and professional life studying anatomy, which became an actual lifestyle! The book, called Muscle Memories, will be published by Fantagraphic Books in 2026.
